Unashamed Use Of Photos To Make Up For Not Blogging.
Wow! I haven't posted in a while. We have had a funeral for my grandmother which included feeding more than 20 people several times at our house, our first fishing expedition, my sister's family up for a visit of several days before and after the funeral, a vacation to the Jersey shore and another effort by my bosses to get me to take a management job, all since my last post. I will be back. I promise. Meanwhile, here are a few pics. BTW, I have been sneaking a few minutes here and there to read your blogs.

nothing wrong at all with picture blogging! All are great pictures.
Wonderful pics dear, beautiful children and happy and rambunctious as I was, well, for the most part. lol
Lovely photos! Were any fish caught? I look forward to future entries, and wish you and your family nothing but the best.
Digging on that last picture!
Absolutely nothing wrong with a photoblog. The kids all look so happy
You've become quite a photographer, Dan! Are some of those kids your sister's, or are they all yours?
Really nice pics, no fair you have the perfect subjects
@making_a_comeback_05 - No fish were caught on our lines, but there was a guy catching one catfish after another with a couple of heavier rigs with different bait. He let the kids reel in a few of his.
@slmret - Some of those kids are my sister's, and some of them are just my kids' friends.
@slmret - BTW, thanks for the complement. It means a lot. I'm really trying to improve, and when I look at the work that's out there, the bar is pretty high, but it gives me ideas and encouragement to get better. I listen to a podcast called This Week In Photo, and the cool thing is, a lot of these guys, who are very successful photographers say that even they are intimidated by the work they see on public forums like 500px that showcase the good work of photographers, so I guess I have something in common with these guys. Our insecurity about the quality of our work drives us to improve ourselves. Anyway, thanks again.
